Autotune problem on Dyno

Post by SamiN » Thu Apr 28, 2016 5:38 pm

Hi!

We were tuning our turbo bike on dyno and tried to use autotune feature (1.164 exp1).

It worked pretty well on lower TPS positions when engine rews up at quite slow rate.
With higher TPS and high rate of RPM acceleration we were unable to get any samples for most of the cells.

- Is that bug or feature
- Is autotune intended to work in DYNO environment?
- What is sample rate in EMU?

Br,
Sami

How fast the bike revst to the limit ?
The log sample rate is 20Hz. Can you send the sample log ?

Hi!

It takes something like 7secs from 3k to 12k rpm with increasing rate of course.

I´ll email you logs tomorrow as they are on my laptop in my office.

Thanks,
Sami

I would sugess to slow donw the ramp rate, let the DYNO hold longer against the engine. For example double the time or even more.

And allow me stupid question..... why is your auto tune graph using TPS + RPM if you have boosted bike ? I would like to see MAP + RPM.
Your VE map uses MAP or TPS ?
Your IGN map uses MAP or TPS ?
