Bugs and Feature reqests
Use TPS + multiplier....
EcuMaster Sweden
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
What are the multiplication values of TPS+multiplication ?
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
1 bar = 100%
2 bar = 200%
3 bar = 300%
Then you use tps vs map for small discrepancies

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Yes I thought so but I'd like to add negative values for less than 100kpa which is available in the ignition table to +/-25%
which I can live with but prefer +/-50%
Most ECU have this range but the EMU has advantage of the extra tables so any map override can be eliminated at idle and
near idle conditions

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
i think You got it all wrong...
"Fueling / TPS vs RPM" gives You ability to change fuel dose from 25%-255% of "normal dose" for given TPS and RPM values - meaning you can subtract up to 75% of fuel dose (25%), and add up to 155% of fuel dose (255%) - in another words EMU multiplies calculated fuel dosage by values from this table (if You have 100%, then there is no correction at all)
"Ignition / TPS vs RPM" is in DEGREES not in %, from -25 do 25 degrees, which is added to calculated ignition angle values.
So You have all possible options for adding and subtracting, and even more that anyone could need, as an additional correction tables - I cannot imagine if anyone would ever use "155% more", or "75% less" fuel correction in any situation...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
It takes the vaccum in the calculations.
You have to use TPS with map multiplier and map based ignition....

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
It seems I have it all wrong !
I'm used to other systems and they work differently and there is no indication
in EMU help whether ignition adjustment is degrees or % which is pretty important !
Thanks for the clarification

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I prefer to use TPS (Alpha N) with map multiplication for both fuel and ignition which I assume is OKPSI-Motor wrote:It takes the vaccum in the calculations.

as there are other options listed in tuning type for map based ignition
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
How about Advanced AFR instead of just Lambda fuel strategies?

Its possible to add a fuel Temperature ?
I think it was a good Feature

I was planning to use that tuning strategy which is a separate setting from the Fuelling-did you use it ?PSI-Motor wrote:No.ihiryu wrote:How about Advanced AFR instead of just Lambda fuel strategies?
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I haven't had a chance to yet. I was planning to do it when I swap to my new injectors. Car is running so well that I don't really want to do anything lol.BigMac wrote:I was planning to use that tuning strategy which is a separate setting from the Fuelling-did you use it ?PSI-Motor wrote:No.ihiryu wrote:How about Advanced AFR instead of just Lambda fuel strategies?
Also, can we add a peak needle on the gauges?
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Install a Flex Fuel sensor, and you will have Fuel temp and compensation.DT-GT42 wrote:Its possible to add a fuel Temperature ?

Closed Loop Gear Cut
it is possible to insert a strategy of cloosed loop strategy, for sequencial gearboxes?
with a gear sensor conected to the ecu, to inform the current gear connected,
a switch or load ceel connected to the ecu too,
when the load cell send the signal to the ecu, cut the torque,
and when the gear position sensor receive the information of the new gear engaged, put the torque again.
someone can help me???

Features requests:
Disable shading on 3d display (looks nice without it, easier to read)
Make 2d charts solid shading transparent (so you can see the gridlines behind the solid red area)
Make it possible to make the right hand tree display expandable, so you can make it wider & see the entire name of features without needing to scroll.
Would it be possible to use Knock input 2 & EGT input 2 for alternative functions (general use inputs?)
Apologies if these have been requested before.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
The ability for cells to change from clicking on the cell and then typing, not requiring a double click.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Is it possible to change the Num cycles of the output tester from maximum 100 to 100000? Then i can test injectors and calculate the dead times by my self. 100 times is a little bit small.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
why AFR work 1 min after engine start?!!?!? when i start my engine with EMU from begining AFR work perfect!! but last 3 months every time when run engine afr start to work 1 min after that...
and you can make check engine light for AFR problems in small table
Set afr 16 (example)
if TPS is >1 (example)
or boost is > 120kpa (example)
for 3 sec (example)
then engine light on

Bug with Gear cut VSS
Hi
i am having a problem with gear cut being active even when rpm and VSS are below minimum values (even with engine off gear cut active shows on log when triggered).
I am using an external gearbox controller that gives an input (active low) for the duration of the shift.
I dont want the function to be active at speeds below 120 KPH or 8000 rpm.
thanks
Chris
