Problem with Secondary Trigger on Vr6

Post by patrickh » Sun Aug 24, 2014 9:15 pm

Hi there

I have a problem with the secondary Tirgger on my Vr6 Turbo.
The EMU does not detect a signal in scope
Did I already tried another intact sensor, checked wiring, trigger is new
Can it be because of the software?

Did you switch pullup on? And have you measured the signal with a Multimeter?
Best regards,
Jan

Secondary Trigger Sensor is from OEM Coilpack Ignition, or Hall Effect from Distributor?

Do you have the osciloscope ? It would be worth to see how does the signal from coilpack looks like.
If it is high voltage signal from coil winding it could destroy cam input.
