2JZ GTE VVTI EMU wiring

Post by Black_Supra » Mon May 09, 2016 6:20 pm

Hey guys,

i already wired a CA18DET and everything is fine, now i am wiring a 2JZ GTE VVTI Engine for EMU.

All aftermarket Sensors, triggers, injectors and coilpacks (wasted sparks) are already installed but i got some quesitons to following points:

1. The throttle is a e-driven throttle, not like the normal 2JZ GTE, this is the VVTI Model - is there any wiring info available? This throttlebody got a lot of connectors and cables.
2. Any idea of wiring the VVTI ?
3. Does this engine got a IACV like the normal 2JZ GTE ?

thanks

The E-body is very complex.
It has magnetic clutch, 2 potentiometer and DC motor.

You pull on the cable, anfd nothing happends.... you need first use the magnetic clutch to be able open the throttle etc...... I think its better to open the box and discover yourself how it works. You will better understand , what to do.

the vvti throttle body is the IACV i have the wiring diagram at home i can email you it when i get home if you'd like. the vvti solenoid is pretty straight forward the only thing is it needs a flyback diode.
