dwell setings are around 3.5ms ( well thats we used on the megasquirt )
carnt help with the config as of yet as im a new user and comeing from megasquirt its a bit different set out
but if you want the tooth wheel settings i have them
JSR .....uks fastest mk2 astra now with emu ecu !

edit: nvm i see it's not connected :p
anyway, so:
pin 1: 1 - 4
pin 2: 2 - 3

Ignition coil from x20xev with 4 pins has signals on 1 & 2 pins and +12v at ignition on 3 & 4 pin. Newer x20xev ( simtec 56.5) has 3 wire connector and 3 pin ignition coil.

yes correct been useing one of these coils for over 5 years like this with out any trouble

I've just look at X20XEV schematic and it seems that 3 and 4 are connected to +12V.
Probably both terminals are internally connected, so that is the reason it works with 4 terminal unconnected.

thats correct vauxhall only used pin 3 ( on the x20xev ) and didnt bother with pin 4 and we have been running them for years that way with out and troubles even with big boost even autodata doesnt list pin 4
