gouping sensor grounds

Post by boostedkane » Wed Jun 22, 2016 7:16 pm

hi i have a question about how is the best way to group my sensor grounds to pin B18

i have the following grounds to connect all in the same pin and cant figure out the best way to do it:

cam, crank, egt x2 , fuel pres, oil pres, flex fuel, air temp, clt, tps
should i just connect the crank and cam shielded wires to B18 and the rest to the engine block?

thanks for your help kane

cam, crank, EGT, fuel pres, oil pres, flex, air temp, clt & tps should all be connected to the analog ground (sensor ground)

Don't connect shield wires to analog ground, connect them to the power ground at the ecu end. Do not connect the other end of the shielding to anything.

Thank you for your help.

Which is the best way to connect all the wires together into 1 wire?

it doesnt matter, they dont carry any current load so one small wire is all thats needed, i connect them together at various places along the harness or jump them from one sensor to the next etc.
