Cam2 internal pullup possible failure?

Post by flubyux2 » Fri Aug 12, 2016 8:41 pm

not sure if this is what has happened since I am seeing 5v from the cam2 wire.
but when cam2 is set as an external switched (to analog ground wire in EMU), the function does not disarm.

ie; Sport > ALS > ALS enable input > CAM #2 input
- Antilag strategy instantly turned on, even if switch is disconnected and Cam2 wire is not grounded
or
Sport > Launch control > Activation input > CAM #2 input
- launch control is always on, even with the switch disconnected and Cam2 wire not grounded

my return path wire is connected at B18. Cam2 is B6

calibration attached. just incase my settings are wrong.

select HALL in the CAM#2 settings, enable the pullup, then connect B6 to a switch and the other side to chassis ground anywhere, usually works

Thank you.
I found out in another search that the sensor type has to be changed. I must not have seen that in the notes with the analog switch wiring diagram elsewhere.

I got it working flawlessly now.
