Fuel pressure sensor options
Hello, im looking to hook up fuel pressure sensor to my setup , cant seem to find 8- 10bar sensor , diesel common rail sensors are reading way too much (~ 3000 bar).
Did anyone tried to connect oil pressure sensor to fuel lines ? As thes can be found to read 10-20 bar max (more accurate at low pressure compared to diesel ones )
?
Thanks

Re: Fuel pressure sensor options
it should not matter what type of sensor as long as the range is suitable, Best are the little 3 wire ones and many OEM units are available for various cars that use them
Re: Fuel pressure sensor options
SO you are saying that oil pressure sensor will be ok for fuel ?
Re: Fuel pressure sensor options
I keep them in stock, 0-10bar absolute, 3pin metripac, methanol/e85 proof 5v sensors.

Low Fuelpressuresensor from 2.0TFSI Golf MK5 etc... , 06E906051E, 0-10Bar, m10x1, Faktor for it is --> Pressure = (2.47*U(V)) - 1.12
Re: Fuel pressure sensor options
Thanks , ill dig around tfsi engines to see i might have one with this part number
)

What thread does it have? Are the connectors available?golf_g_turbo wrote:Low Fuelpressuresensor from 2.0TFSI Golf MK5 etc... , 06E906051E, 0-10Bar, m10x1, Faktor for it is --> Pressure = (2.47*U(V)) - 1.12

Stock is Mounted with a O-ring, you can Mount it also with a Cooper Gasket.
Re: Fuel pressure sensor options
Μ10χ1 is easy to use, that's very good. Yes it would be good if you share the part number of the connector. Thanks a lot for sharing the sensor info.golf_g_turbo wrote:Thread Wide is M10X1 Connectors are Availible over VW/Audi. Partnumber i can search for you.nickbmw wrote:What thread does it have? No Problem. VW Partnr. is 3B0973703G for the Connector.
