CAN EMU ECU not outputting to Bluetooth.

Hi,

I have fitted a CAN ecu into my Skyline and wired up the CAN bluetooth unit as described in the paperwork, all software setting are correct.
I can connect to the Bluetooth unit without any issues but it is showing no data, only zeros.
I know the app works fine as I am using a non CAN emu on my other Skyline and that connects and shows all data perfectly, but this can unit shows no data at all.

The settings are-

Pin 1 = CAN L Yellow wire
Pin 5 = CAN H Green wire
Red and black on BT unit power and earth (5 volt power supply)

Configuration-
Device = Can-Bus
Can-bus pseed = 500kbps (have also tried all other speeds)
Send emu data over can bus = Unticked
Send data to BT can module = Ticked.
Can-bus dashborad = None.

I have made settings permanent with each change and even cycled the ignition but I get no data from the EMU even though I am connected to the Bluetooth unit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the ANdroid app is extremely useful.

Did You add terminator resistor ?

Hi,

No, I am very new to CAN and to be honest wasnt sure if needed or even where to put it as I have no detailed instructions other than which wires to which pins.
Do you have a guide for which resistor to put where?

P.S I also notice you are now offering an external datalogger, I was using the Keelog logger on my non can ecu, does your external logger work on the can ecu?

For anyone in the future who has this same issue.
I have fitted a 120ohm resistor between the yellow and green wires going to the Bluetooth unit and all is now working fine.

I hope this helps anyone in the future as there is very little information provided regarding the fitting of the Bluetooth can.

it is conecption of CAN BUS. You created your own CAN BUS.
If you connect BT module to existing CAN BUS no termination is required.
