Hello,
I have the DET3 wired in, it is connected to the crank sensor wire and I can retard the ignition and this seems to be working well.
I'm having less success with the fuelling. The standard ECU has no MAP or MAF input, only a TPS, so I am choosing to modify the signal from the ECU to the injectors using an aftermarket MAP sensor connected into Analogue #2.
I have the injector signal from the ECU connected to 'Frequency in'(pin 10), and the injectors connected to Power out #1(pin 20). I've been told that I need 100 (%?) in the PWM Table #1 to keep the standard amount of fuel. But trial and error has found that 13 makes the engine run best, but still not as good as without the DET.
I don't understand why it talks about frequency, surely the frequency of the signal is fixed proportionally to the engine RPM, it is the pulse duration that is important and needs to be modified by the MAP signal.
How do I make sure that the correct part of the correct signal is being modified by the PWM table?
Settings for direct controlling of the injectors

Re: Settings for direct controlling of the injectors
Maybe I can explain better what I am trying to do. I want to directly control the injectors using the PWM tables, as described on Page 28 of the user manual, but it won't work and I think there must be something wrong in the settings. The engine runs fine if I disconnect the injection in and out wires from the DET and short them together, so I know there are no other problems.
In the Setup menu, I have made the following settings.
Frequency configuration; Frequency modification type; Read frequency
PWM outputs configuration; left as defaults(35Hz, no boxes ticked)
Injection control configuration; Injectors control type; Full group input Power Output #1
Injector opening time; 1.0
Have I done any of this wrong, are there other settings that I have to make?

Re: Settings for direct controlling of the injectors
So I have spoken to two of the UK sellers of ECUmaster products, and both said that although it can kind of be done, it's not a good way of doing it and that I will be better off using the fuel implant firmware instead. So I will be adding a few more sensor wires and loading new firmware.
Re: Settings for direct controlling of the injectors
Does anybody know if it's possible to find temperature/resistance specs for Bosch sensors anywhere online, so I don't have to spend time with a thermometer and a multi-meter?
