In evo 9 idle stepper motor control problems in other ecu like aem infinity and motec when you use oem wiring with adaptor you must disconnect the two middle wires from the 6 wire stepper number 2 and 5 which gives steady 12 v to stepper motor they tell you to do this to work the stepper properly do I have to disconnect the two cables with emu please answer because I have suffering for two months with stepper not work and other times stuck

no need to disconect anything

in idle setup just choose valve type = unipolar steper

start from slow freq like 20hz and watch behavior

theeese steppers are pone to be glued with shmoo so dont hesitate to remove it from throttlebody and make sure its clean and mooving according to ECU demand
