You need to connect it as state in manual.
You can find the coils with the multimeter. To each 2 pins the one coil is connected.

hi, ive conected it like in the manual, two outside pins is one coil, the two inside is another, but i have to tick reverse for proper operation and when i start the engine revs very high then slows down.
to reverse it do i have to reverse the pins between each coil (polarity change) or change both wires on each coil (coil a to b and b to a)?
tanks.

hi i have made a nice pnp adaptor for my saxo 16v for fun and i haven't wired the iac valve yet because i didn't know how!!!! have you wired as Unipolar stepper motor or Stepper motor. according with unipolar diagram i sow that you feed the iac valve with 12v but i have seen at auto data that it has some measurement tests and says 5v!!!! and i am little confused.

It must be wired like stepper motor, i made few setups on these engines but most of them for rally so i dont use the stepper, ignition control is enough for controlling idle.
On this one i wanted to use the stepper but just gave up, made it working as jazwin says conecting as in the manual, but it was revving too high at startup.
Anyway outside pins are one coil, inside pins the other.

i will tray it because my saxo is for daily use if i cant find solution i will close the stack the piston of iac and adjust it with the screw and ignition control. I have thought to use as idle valve the EVAP valve what is your opinion?
ps. my planes is stock+turbo i have did in past with det3 and it was killer for 255hp 12,9sec 1/4 mile with street types that was for garbage.

If you dont have agressive cams or other mods ignition control is enough with well tuned maps.

if it is reving too high at start there is a setting for DC during cranking make that lower and it might be better. Also look at after start increase settings
