i need help configuring the primary trigger for a audi aan 5 cylinder with 60-2 triggerwheel.
can anybody help me calculating the required parameters like first trigger tooth, trigger angle, etc. ?
car wont start since several weeks already and i am really upset with this sh*t.

you did probably used some stupid ecus before. There is noo nned to "calculate" something.
Just put in the 60-2 trigger, set the ignition sequence, put the timimng light on the first plug and you will see how far you are. Coars changes are made by adjusting "first trigger tooth" and fine with trigger angle.
With 5 cilinder you need also secondary trigger, so the cam sensor must be also set.
............... but this is waht everybody should know, and can read in user manual... so dont be upset.

you´re right. i was working since 16 years with oem ecu´s and a few free-programmable ecu´s.
but here i have a strange problem : the spark-plugs are firing and the injectors are spaying, but always
to the wrong time.
ignition seqeuence was set, but i am not sure how i have to set the first trigger tooth and the angle,
because that engine usually doesn´t have a 60-2 sensor.
i would appreaciate every help.
