Bosch knocksensor

Post by Tofelius » Wed Jul 05, 2017 8:10 pm

I have two Bosch 0261231006 knocksensors on my 1jz. Feedback voltage is 0v all the time. I tried change gain but anything happend. Anybody else have same sensors? I checked wiring and mounting these are ok.

there should always be some noise voltage when the engine is running so either the sensors are incompatible, but i have never heard of any type of sensor that does not give some sort of signal, or more likely you have a problem elsewhere. I have always had good results using Bosch sensors.

is that possible wastegate screampipe make noise to knocksensors? On my engine screampipe goes under the engine. I think that because at same time when wastegate going open knocksensors voltage rise notably. I can send datalog if someone want check.

I think you answered your own question, knock sensor is essentially i microphone that will pick up noise so readings could very well go up with loud screamer pipe close by
