12v Hall Sensor

Post by DC33 » Sun Jul 30, 2017 2:54 am

Hi guy, I was just curious if it's possible to use a 12v HALL type crank sensor. I know the 96-99 E36 BMW had a recall to switch from a 5v to a 12v HALL sensor because the 5v ones were getting false readings. I'd like to be able to use the stock crank trigger sensor on my build, but in the EMU manual it only talks about wiring up a HALL sensor with a 5v source.
