Dirty tune

Post by pepifebles » Sat Sep 02, 2017 10:01 pm

Hi guys, recently have tuned bmw v8 turbo drift car. Engine runs fine, very fast, smooth iddle, spool fast, very angry athigh rpm, etc... The problem its that all its ok like stock car, not seem like race engine, its boring :( I need any flame between gears, or bangs. What can I do with tune to get something funny?

Everything "FUNNY" will make your engine sick. All the bangs may destroy your valves, manifold, turbo, o2 sensor etc..........

you can turn off the over run fuel cut and bump all the VE table right up high in the over-run area, That makes nice big harmless flames out the exhaust on decel and gear changes etc

Put negative ignition numbers in the far left load column, and leave fuel on.

Overrun fuel cut ... hmm i will better say decel fuel cut
Set
Fuel cut resume below RPM 6900RPM
Fuel cut above RPM to 7000RPM

This will not cut fuel under 7000RPM even on deceleration. But all the feul need also air to be able to burn. So if you TP is fully closed, you will probably have just very small amount of air.

If youwill make some stupidy funny noises, you can even on N/A use something like ALS. This function will still work the same way, just the bengs will useless, because there is no turbo to spin, so just for fun.
