Primary trigger only?

Am I able to run my EMU with a primary crank trigger signal only? This would be for a 280z datsun which has no cam signal. Directions are not very clear on what is needed for this to work.

yes not a problem but only if your primary signal has either a missing 1-2 teeth or an extra tooth
