No spark on 3sgte gen 2

Got my ecu master hooked up, but it just cranks and never gets spark? Plug in the stock ecu and starts up for a second, all wires check out correctly, not sure what else I'm missing, so im seeking help on here.

Need more info about it. Did You use stock wiring ? or custom one, Are You using distributor, ignitor and stock coil or there is something custom ?

This is one of the units I tested for CRW correct? If so, it started and ran an MR2 at my shop, one that had very weak crank/cam signals. I did not test with your EMU however, just the interconnector, and pigtail. I would confirm the EMU has the base map I sent installed before you do anything else. If you need it resent, email me scott@atsracing.net

It should be on all stock wiring and coil/igniter.

Yea all stock wiring, coil, distributor checks out good, they got the other car in here at crw to start with the emu, so I went ahead and replaced my engine harness made sure everything was good, cranks good, no spark. I'm going to see if they can reload that basemap to give it a try.

Problem solved, put in a new distributor and car fired up right away!. Everything is good now!

How does the check engine light work on these things? What if it flashes for one second and never comes back how do I check that?

You can check it in log. Channel called check engine code

I'm on the software 1.12 and I plug the ecu in and go to logs nothing showing check engine is there?

Probably it is WBO "error". It would be the best if you send here the log with this situation

How can I send you the logs does it get saved in the emu folder in documents?

Just press the disc icon on the grpah log window. All log channels will be saved.

Sometimes the ecu shuts off for a second and I have to turn off and on my car, Its when I have my laptop connected with 1.112, don't know if that's supposed to happen? It's only happened once today though. Where the car bogs down to a stop. But turns on great and drives again. I'll send you the data log I just made.

Engine code that you see is knock. Your Engine obviously is not knocking. You need to configure knock sensor or turn off notification about knocking in check engine options.

So now I have a new problem, everytime I load my map to the ecu, it starts great then when I shit the car off, the check engine light doesn't come on, and have to reload the base map everytime I start the car up?? I've spent so much time and money trying to get my car tuned, even with some of the best tuners around, none can get this ecu to function correctly, and that's on 2 mr2's with the same setup. I have no idea what's going on, maybe I might need a whole new jumper harness, and ecu totey it out again to figure out my problem.

Did you make the settings/maps permanent with button F2 after loading it to EMU?

Yea made sure everything was permanent, but somehow my cel doesn't come back on when I restart the car, I tried another emu ecu same map and same thing. I need to upload basemap on every startup now. Not sure what's going on, and I'm on the latest software
