Start up Tune help

Post by fonz87 » Sat Mar 21, 2015 11:47 pm

Hello Everyone,

I bought my EMU almost a year ago and was able to get my car started. At the time of the start up, I didn't have my Intercooler kit installed and revs were all over the place. Everytime I tapped the gas pedal, the Rmp would drop and then rise. It was being weird and I know I need a tune. Was wondering if someone could be able to assist me with my Start up. I can provide you the start file I have. The car is currently in the shop for exhaust and the car should be in my hands some time early next week and I m looking to try to start the car next weekend. Need the Start up to run the car and idle it for a period of time to make sure I have no leaks and etc.

Its' a 1989 Toyota Supra mk3
2JZ-GTE Swap,
Single Turbo - PTE 60-1 (I believe it's a 61 trim)
PTE- 1000 cc Injectors, Compatible with E85
Intercooler with 2.50 Inch Piping
EMU Master ECU -with Fuel Bar, Oil Bar
-8 Feed fuel line and -6 Return (if that matters or not)

Please let me know if you need more information.

Also wondering if there is software for the Mac laptops?

Thank you
Fasi

If you have any issuse just wrtie here we will help you for sure. However there should be no problems.

The software works only under Microsoft Windows.

Did you get this to work? I am having the same issue, EMU has just been hooked up and is idling fine but when I rev, there is a delay before the RPM goes up, in fact it would drop by 5-100 before it goes up.

Post your log file. Sounds like not correctly setup acceleration enrichment. The engine is very lean during the transient condition

Gotta make sure your fuel and timing maps are setup. But like Jad said, could be your Accel Enrich isn't setup.

It just needs tuning, it's only a start-up map.
