I need to learn about how to adjust the VE table.

I actually don't really understand it much.

I know its for adjusting when you have more air or less air flowing. But the instruction manual isn't really clear on how to adjust it. I don't know if you put a higher number for more air or higher number for more fuel.

Ok slowly getting the idle a pinch better, but its not too reliable so far.

BUT i drove the car around the block and i loved the way it drove. amazingly strong and feels perfect and exactly how i want it !

soon as its in idle it just has a hard time not stalling. I was adjusting the VE table in the idle area and it makes some differences but i think i gotta maybe ad alittle more opening to the throttle body. I feel like if i adjust the screw more than stock it might get the idle alittle more stable.

i see you just starting playing with stand alone ECU :)

tip from me turn all corrections to 0 warm up engine to normal working temperature and then try stabilize idle, when i first start my car on EMU i just make to many corrections and so on i cannot make idle properly ( 3 months i think ) later on i started from scrap once again with only VE and IGN, then looking at logs im still fine tuning it :geek:

if you have wide band oxygen sensor connected tunning will be quite easy and idle afr should be 13.5 to 14.5 ( it was on few engines i saw ), and once again warm up engine before you start messing with VE and IGN tables rest of conditions you will set up by corrections, but messing with them on cold engine will cause only problems later on :)

im not a expert or not one of support team but i think you should read more about engine tuning or go to professional tuner ( setting up knock sensor right can protect you form... DETONATION ! )

Thanks for that tip !!

Im getting things sorted out day by day, i have one more question.

When i start to give it gas it when it gets to 2k rpm it gets really rich then drops back down to 1k. However if i give it throttle passed that 2k mark it will do fine through out the entire rev range.

2k just seems to be the only problem now. Tips ?

I've tried to adjust the VE table around that rpm and its not making a difference.
