New Coils

Hello

I just fitted new VAG coils to the 2JZ, and just wanted to change the software so i can run again, how much is needed to change ?

Before it was running 2jz gte vvti colis (3 coils with 2 outputs each), wasted spark, and now i want full sequential ignition

Is the VAG coils with or without amplife?
What to change in ignition events?

The ignotion order of the 2jz is 153624 so than you have to set it ignotion event1 is output1, ignotion event2 is output 5 and so on.

But it depents on your wiring, if you have output1 at coil of zylinder1 and output2 at zylinder2 and so on. Than the example above is right.

And the injectors are set like this:
Injector phase1 = ignition event 1
Injector phase2 = ignition event 5
Injector phase3 = ignition event 3
Injector phase4 = ignition event 6
Injector phase5 = ignition event 2
Injector phase6 = ignition event 4

Than your injectors will sqirt your trigger angle (normally 60 deg) before ignotion

If you want to squirt them earlyer than you have to calculate every injector phase +1 then you get 120deg more angle before ignition event of the Zylinder. 120+trigger angle

You can play also with the offset parameter.

Witch vag coils do yo use? Dont forget to change the dwell time and rpm offset in the right way. The newer ones of The vag coils are everytime with build in amplifire

you should set coils type to "coils with built in amplifier" for testing.

otherwise you might destroy them.
