Retrieve data from EMU - need help evaluating map
Hi. I want to check the mapping on my EMU-device, but i dont have the emu-file on my computer. Can i retrieve the file that is on the device simply by connecting it to my computer? Or will the device be updated with an empty map when i start the client with an empty emu-file?

Just plug USB cable and check that EMU is "connected" then file-> save project as

Is it anyone here who could take a quick look at the map and see if it makes sense? The AFR seems to be a little off. Cruising at 10-12, then rising to 13 when i apply a little more throttle and finally back to 10 when at wot.

Please send here a log file from your drive.
If there is a WBO sensor connected to the EMU we can see if the fuel dose is correct.
To do it just drive your car with EMU connected to the PC and then open log window, and press disc icon.
All channels will be saved.

I dont think i have WBO sensor connected, But i logged some other values, maybe you can read something out of it. I have also attached the complete map. I would really appreciate if someone could have a look. Its a bit hard to start, and when i dab the throttle when idling, it almost dies and then revs, same problem when driving slowly at low rpms. The AFR-meter in the car shows way different than from the ECU.

You shouldnt be driving the car at all with the tune that you have, its a catastrophe.
The lambda 4,2 sond isn´t connected to the ecu and no external modul either. And your EGO corretion is on wich it shouldnt be. Get your car to a tuner and sort it out

Thank you for looking at it! Could someone else look at it also? If i am to confront the current tuner, i should have several opinions.

Yes, it is totaly wrong !
No map should look like Rocky Mountain!
27° IGn at 250kPa and 2500RPM will probably kill your engine if you turbo makes bosst there. And for example 25degree at 4000RPM in vakuum will make your engine run weak like 1.0L 3 cilinder.
Looks like you are copiing values from another map from someone, and you swaped X and Y axis.
VE littel better, but still too rough, you should smooth your map dramaticly!

If he dont excuases for this Mess, just kick him in to the A** , and try to find someone who realy understands how engine works.

NO! This is not the work of a professional tuner!! Not even a bad tuner! This is the work of a guy with epelepsi that got his hands of a keybord connected to a ecu!
Im taking this very personal due to the fact that he is called a professional tuner! That puts him under the same category as me and it pisses me of

Is there any possibilty that the map doesnt tell the full story? That there is another factor that makes this map ok?
Another problem: When i try to rev from idle, it feels like it dies for 1sek and then revs. What could cause this?

I fully agree with what my predecessors wrote. The tables look terrible.

I talked to the tuner today, and he explained what was going on with the table. It looks bad, but works great. There were some values that were put in simply as a failsafe in areas the car is never supposed to be in. For example vacuum at 6000rpm or high boost at 2000rpm. In the diagonal from vacuum at idle and to full boost at max rpm everything is as it is supposed to be.
We cleaned up the map a bit and took a few runs, no knock and good power. The throttle delay at idle was removed, but the slight starting issue is still there but its not a big problem.

At 2500rpm it reaches about 10psi, which is about 170Kpa. 4000rpm at vacuum never happens, the boost comes on really fast at that high rpm.Karel wrote:Yes, it is totaly wrong !
