Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi
would it be possible to add a boost target to be active with launch control.
thanks

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi again
would it be possible to add the following features
1. incremental gear position inputs, 1 input to increase gear by 1 and a second input to decrease gear by 1 the resistance switch on the Hayabusa is not reliable and prone to open circuit due to its design.
2. time based boost scale triggered from a selectable input or event ( launch control deactivation ) 15 seconds would be plenty
at the moment i use VSS scaling. Due to class regulations i have to read VSS from the driven wheel in the event of wheelspin VSS increases and therefore boost increases.
many thanks
Chris

It is possible to make a tool for calculating a injection event?
Big thx Eugen

I'm not sure it will work ok in all situations.
ad.2
It is possible to add this feature. The DC ref and Boost target scale in time domain.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I will think about it, because it is a little bit confusing now.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hello Jakub, again a problem with my wastegate actuator, the wiring sheme is like in the picture attached. The signal should be a PWM signal @300 Hz with duty cycle between 3 and 93%.
I measured with the oscilloscope a very nice and clean square wave with a very exact frequency at the signal wire, but the duty cycle only shifts between 2 to ~75% even though I set the min/max values to 2/98% in emu client.
the strange thing is, Emu somehow makes a additive error to the dc.
E.g. 29% in emu client makes a real DC of 2% and 100% in client makes 75% in reallity. So when I further reduce the DC in client(from 29 % downwards) real DC stays at 2%. that happens vice-versa when inverted the output.
Is my wiring correct?
what could be causing that problem?
thanks in advance!

Fuel Injector cleaning and flow measuring service needed? -> contact me :)
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I will check it. Can you send me your configuration ?
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
sent to tech@ecumaster.com
I hope thats right.

Hi Jakub
If you could make time based boost control it would remove the need for incremental gear sensing.
thanks

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
What condition to start the timer? VSS?
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I usw a pwm valve for Isle control. Two wire Bosch from an opel.
I put a flyback diode to it to work.
But while driving the ECU set its DC to 100%. Fully opened..is that a bug? When TPS is near to be closed, the open valve makes it hard to cruise at low speed because the car accellerates.
I try to reverse the signal.that helps little. But this valve is not really closed at 0% DC. It has a failsafe Funktion, so from 0-25% it is open a little. Then 25-30% is closed, and working range from 30-100%DC.
What to do? Try another valve?
EDIT: Ok....never mind!
...was my fault...i just had to get familiar with all the tables
now i did all the right settings to fix it

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi Jakub
start timer from vss or clutch switch input used for launch control would be fine

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Does someone have problem with lambda and 1.120 version , I update 2 cars and have same problem ( with same probe ) it works then stops ( aft 14.7 ) , then works ...... then downgrade to 1.110 and start one of the cars it works for 10 minutes without problem ... I can not understant if it is bad probe or firmware problem
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi Jakub
RE time based boost control
I did some testing this weekend with closed loop boost control, i now have boost accurate to +- 5KPA of target table.
at this level of control i will need to change the boost target / time step in 0.5 second increments at the start of the run will this be possible ?

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
So I've been playing with the Bluetooth software a bit and noticed one major flaw, the lack of decimal places for gauges. For example, AFR only shows in whole numbers. The difference between 12.0 and 13.0 AFR is pretty dramatic, and knowing where you're at in between there is crucial.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi Chris!
I try to prepare new software version in several days.

Could you send me the log file with the lambda issue ?killerbee wrote:Does someone have problem with lambda and 1.120 version , I update 2 cars and have same problem ( with same probe ) it works then stops ( aft 14.7 ) , then works ...... then downgrade to 1.110 and start one of the cars it works for 10 minutes without problem ... Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
We are aware of this issue. We are working on new Dashboard version with many improvements.Alec wrote:So I've been playing with the Bluetooth software a bit and noticed one major flaw, the lack of decimal places for gauges. Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I think I saw the problem , the car is with very hard multidisc clutch and for a moment when engaging rpm drop to below 500 rpm and ecu state goes to cranking , afterstart and next 40sec lambda do not work ....
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi!
I've checked your settings and boost output. Everything works as expected. I suppose that you have problem with the DC Error correction table that change your DC.
