ECU cannot connect

Hello everyone. I still have problems with DET3. I have a bmw e36 engine m52b25. I connected the unit says the scheme for BMW. if I put the pins used to ground the unit it does not turn on. In fact the moment I keep them loose. Another problem, the computer feels that there is a control unit attached, but when I open the client or the fuel implant appears that the unit is not connected. can you help me? thank you

what Windows are you using? have you be sure DET3 recognized in your Microsoft windows System Properties? Any COM Port conflict ?
Be sure to crimp terminals in DET3 nice and tight, check on terminal 1 & 11 on your DET3 with volt meter to make sure you have good IG+ and ground (nominal battery voltage). Have you following wiring diagram as http://ecumaster.com/pobierz/det3/DET3_ ... agrams.pdf ?

I tried it with win 7 and win in the computer 8. says the device is properly connected . I also tried to change usb cable but nothing
