Launch Control Escort Cosworth

Post by shadowlandz » Wed Jun 10, 2015 1:36 am

Hi,

I have the EMU setup on my car, mapped by Oppliger Motorsport in Italy.

There is ALS enabled with a switch but i want to use the launch Control option as well..

Can anybody give me a working example of the LC settings (without using a switch), and without breaking the engine

Thanx in advance!!

Wow thanx!

This is universal then?

I will try and set it up tomorrow morning.

With those screenshot settings it should be safe and working?

Kind regards

You need working VSS signal to make it automatic.
RPM, retard depend on Your engine/turbo setup and how much TQ/boost You want to make.
Enrichment depends on EGT and that depends also from retard amount.

Ehhmmm OK..

What is a working VSS signal? I taught just entering those lines into the EMU setup and save the file..

I just want about 0.5-0.7bar of boost (7psi or something)

So the first thing is, what and how is a working VSS signal? :ugeek:

It means your EMU is capable to read vehicle speed (VSS sensor is connected).

If your EMu know car speed, you will see it.

If not, you need to wire it, if you are not able to feed EMU with car speed, you need to use some switch to activate/deactivate launch control.

I have found out that the ECU cannot read the car speed, so now the next step is to use and wire that switch or as they say VSS signal?

Anybody that can help?

put a switch on your clutch pedal , adjust it for the bite of the clutch , i used to use this method with an omex launch control , used it to flat shift too
