www.ecumaster.com/tv

Save your project before upgrade, then upgrade firmware, reset device and reload your project manually

It looks similar to other Autotunes I've seen. I'm sure the master will tell us soon how it works

You can use Keelog serial ghost dongle to log without PC.

Can you explain a little bit more, how it works and how i have to convert the data of the serial port?
Best regards,
Jan

You connect this dongle to EMU extension port (the proper cables will be available next week). This device has 2GB memory and real time clock so the logs are stamped with the proper date.
If you need to read the log you connect the dongle to PC, copy file to disk and using Import Keelog function in EMU software you can download appropriate log.

Jakub, what is the frequency of the data for these logs? Will it be possible to output the files to .csv so we can import to a data analysis program?

It depends on channels. Channels like RPM, MAP, TPS are 10Hz.
You can export them to cvs from EMU Client after importing it.

Wow, this is great news. A similar solution to what I was asking for a little while ago only you found a device that is even cheaper than the one I was proposing. This will be a very welcome tool for my customers...

please change the option for MUX switch, because it is now not possible to invert the signal. For example the clutch switch is an normally closed switch, i cant use them with mux board.

Another thing is that the lambda need after start too long for heating, or to long for giving data. Cold start and all the other things are very hard to tune without lambda values at that time. It would be great to have an option, to start the lambda directly or heating up before motor start. I know the option enable heater witout rpm but i get the data equally late with this option.

Can you put max speed, max EGT and max injector DC also in the log book?
Hey Kuba,

the max Speed in the Log Book is VSS frequency and not vehicle speed. And does the autotune function only work when i'am online because it is only saving data when Emu is connected with Laptop, after disconnecting or ignition off, all saved data of autotune are gone.

Jan

As far as i have worked out playing with it:

All you need is a log file open (saved or live) and the current map open (saved or live) then you can run the autotune setup. It will create the tuning map then you can highlight and apply what ever sections you require. You can save the new adjusted map if you are offline and open once you are re-connected or can make permanent if you are online.

It only logs with laptop connected and you need to save the log if you want to disconnect or use it later. You can also import saved logs from the BT tablet and open that log to perform the whole process.

sheer brilliance!.. and the added touch to really top it off is the equalize (smoothing) feature!!!!

I briefly played with Autotune yesterday but it's quicker for me to create the map manually with closed loop off and as you say the equalise feature is very good !
If the Autotune works from logs created on an Android device and can be applied whilst offline then it will make tuning a real pleasure I will test it out properly once I have an engine installed in a road vehicle and can collect 1 hour of data and write the target map to reflect cruise and light load conditions.
Well done to the people at ECUmaster for the good work :D

Hi Guys!

In future release we add possibility to use android tablet log. Actually there is no lambda / afr target nor current VE logged.

'Bug' in version 1.134

Dear all, noticed sth and wanted to share. 1.134 has the option to invert the AC output, not present in older versions. I upgraded firmware in a car and the 'invert' check box was now by default ticked. AS a result, AC compressor was always engaged! This can lead to blowing all refrigerant due to pressure rise so be careful. I had the chance to notice it early as car was not idling very well (AC was engaged without increasing idle valve DC).
