Hi, wonderful development on this system.

But on the 1.134 i notice the fine tuning is limited to the nearest boxes.
Quite a nice features but a off switch for this should be nice ;)
And when i use the fine tuning i see some lag.

Thanks

*edit*
A uninstall and switch the keyboard shortcuts and then reassigned it again solve the problem.

feature suggestion

common cause of engine damage is running too lean at high load, in particular turbo engines!!.... maybe from a failing or undersize fuel pump, dirty filter or injectors etc etc.

nice to have similar table as oil pressure engine cut for too lean fuel mixture, but against engine load not rpm (only needs activation above an rpm setting)

One for fuel pressure would also be good and would do a similar job, but not everyone can or does record fuel pressure but most setups will have an O2 sensor and that is a more direct safety feature.

+1 on lean cut

Good luck using a single Lambda to detect one lean cylinder out of four and forget about six -you need a sensor per cyl either O2 or better EGT . The knock sensor maybe your lifeline if the problem is creeping up on you rather than a failure. It's one reason why i don't like two injectors per cyl because if one fails you have enough fuel from the other to cut the piston in half although most serious blowups I've seen have been caused by the map sensor pipe coming off

It works perfect, been running many ecu:s with this feature and it has saved a lot of engines when for example a

Vaccumhose has let go to the fuel pressure regulator
Vaccumhose to the mapsensor let go
A pump fails
A fuel pressure regulator fails
Clogging the fuel filter
Fuelhose starts to leka
G-force fuelsurge
If your worried about single cylinders then you can run one egt on each cylinder with egt correction.
Otherwise this is a perfect feature wich i have spoken to Kuba about.

Yes indeed it will work for whole system failure with problems that effect all cylinders and then your life depends on a Lambda sensor.
I'm not criticising the feature just pointing out some details, most potential problems can be eliminated by good install and maintenance-twin pumps and filters for example
Maybe " ECU master" will make a nice multichannel EGT/sensor/ CAN interface box :)

Ha Ha ! I notice whilst clicking through the EMU software and notice things like "Can Switch" etc so I guess there may be some sort of sensor expansion box planned , I look forward to seeing it :D

additional analog inputs via CAN are already available http://www.efishop.pl/index.php?p61,modul-can-bus

I was thinking more along the lines of a "Can-EGT" This uses Innovate data stream and has 0-5v outputs for each thermocouple so has universal appeal. If I was going to the trouble of making such a device I'd put some extra analogue inputs on it and maybe a map sensor too

Is there a way or maybe future update to fix afr targets in log , I make very good log but my afr targets were set to 14.7 since I do not use close loop and now want to test autotune but can not modify aft targets

Hi guys, thank you for the amazing job its just getting better and better with every version you make, good job.

I was wondering if there is a possibility to new idle mode to be used with ALS, there ignition cut idle mode is not that good, as it will run the manifold hotter, as I tried to manipulate the fuel cut to make better idle with ALS, as its working fine, but if there is dedicated fuel cut based idle to be used with ALS it would be much better, as in other ECUs, like cooldown or rotational idle , by cutting fuel event randomly on cylinders to hold the desired idle, as this will remarkably lower the EGT and CLT in very short period, I wish if you can consider this in future versions :)

Thanks,

Is it posible to add "IAT input" option to "idle corr. analog input" in idle parameters?

Hi, noticed the MAP based DC ref table option in 1.134. Will we see further development with this? Each boost target will have a certain DC that attains that target. An option like "Boost Target based DC ref table" would be great.

WOW autotune rocks ^^ GREAT JOB Guys

btw, when I clear the log with the button, windows says that emu client does not work anymore and I have to close it.
Fuel Injector cleaning and flow measuring service needed? -> contact me :)

Hey guys,

is it possible, to get an injector test menu? For example where you can put pulsewidth and amount of squirts? That would be a great feature to calculate the dead time of injector and to test the linearity of an injector group.

And is it possible to connect the Haldex controller to EMU that they work together, maybe for the future.
Best regards,
Jan

Downloaded the 1.134 and it completely spazzed my car out couldn't get it running right injector pulse width was maxing out flooding my motor, with gas fixed it by go back to 1.124 or something in that range. The newer 35,and 34 doesn't work just floods the neighborhood with smoke from the fuel. It's crazy.

Working on this. Should be ready this week. It will be fuel cut idle
