Bugs and Feature reqests
Any chance we can make provision for a coolant pressure sensor? This is very useful in determining a head gasket issue.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
You can connect it to any analog inputs and for example use parametric output to light the idicator light when coolant pressure problem occurs.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
If it is possible please add to engine protection options based on oil temperature (the same as for CLT).
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi, the ECU is running great, just wondering if there is a possibility to add a fail safe feature based on lambda/AFR at different MAP, RPM, TPS? For example if it detects leaner than say 12:1 above 150kPa at above 90% TPS you can tell it to cut fuel or turn off boost control or trigger a light etc etc. Would be good in the case of a failing fuel pump or failing secondary fuel system/methanol injection system. Cheers.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi,
I changed my cam2 setting to Hall and it seems to have completely fixed the table switching issue, thank you very much!
Do you have any idea when the Keelog data log will be able to log AFR/lambda? I still get the software crashing everytime I rev above 5000rpm so tuning based on log data is only good for below 5000rpm.
The Keelog logs all data even up and above 7000rpm so would be perfect to use for auto tune.
Thanks again,
Edward.

What ground do you use for CAM#2 ? Did you enable pullup ?
Mobilelpg wrote:At the moment you cannot use data imported via the KeeLog import for autotune because the KeeLog does not read Lambda target.
Load a log from the KeeLog and select autotune and it just suggest 0 for all of the VE table as it thinks the lambda target is 0.
Also I am having issues with my table switch, I have the table switch set so that when the CAM#2 pin is earthed it switches to table 2, my log (and can be felt when driving) is rapidly flicking between table 1 and 2 but it doesn't always do it, sometimes works fine and other times it flicks between tables rapidly.
I have uploaded a small log file where if you look at 'Table Set' you can see it switching for no reason even though the relay is closed circuit and providing an earth path for CAM#2 pin.
I have changed the wiring, used a different earth location but nothing changes, if anyone cares to suggest why I would love to hear as I have ran out of ideas.
Edward.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Can we have some max or min voltage settings for the AC input signal??... or am i missing something?
I have used the original signal wire from the climate computer. I used a voltage splitter with 2.2K and 1K resistors to give me an inactive signal of about 4v but after turning on the AC this only drops to about 0.5v not zero and the OP still does not get switched to turn the clutch on.
I have set it up on a parametric OP for now, but then i cant incorporate the signal into the idle strategies.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
What is a voltage range of your AC switch ?
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
When the AC is off the signal is 12v from the harness, when the AC is on it drops to about 1v
I have connected a voltage splitter with 2.2K/1K resistors so the signal to the EMU is about 4V AC off and 0.3 - 0.5v AC on

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Anyone having issues with O2 Sensor where its bouncing off crazy numbers on idle with E85. We added E85 last night and on pump, the idle was 14.1-14.7 range and after we added timing and fuel to compensate for the E85 and idle was super smooth but the AFR was all over the place, the analog gauge was going insane! 14.1 to 20..... it was going insane.
and I have the check engine light on. and it would turn off and then come back on. every 10 seconds or so.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Just connect AC switch directly to EMU and set analog input inverted as a switch source.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Have you gone to the Tools menu, then Available Strategies and checked if knock sensor is selected?
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Phil thank you ............ i was never in this Menu "Tools" and didnt switched anything OFF. The same with changed KEY "mapping" for add, sub etc....Phil wrote:Have you gone to the Tools menu, then Available Strategies and checked if knock sensor is selected?
It has changed between versions, not by my wish. So i would like to say "Unwanted changes".
Thank you for help

Hi,
This bug is already fixed for next version.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I must also reply on other bug.
I have 4 notebooks , 3 DELLs and 1 Sonny. They all worked fine with EMU. After many EMU firmware/software upgrades, and also Windows and driver updates , finally the Sonny starts to have problems. In 50% of starting application and connection EMU freezes. I must shut down APP, disconnect EMU, wait for sound "dada" connect and wait for sound "tada" , then start EMU and it works.......... Very strange, and i am not sure whats happend, who has the error in upgrade, but it iritates me.
Also my custommer is reporting some troubles like that, freezing USB comunication, or application......
Are we able to help you somehow ? Install some debug software, and send you feedback or anything ?

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I've bought some different laptops for application tests. After tests I will come to you to help solve your problem
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I just loaded up the software on Windows 10 and it seems to work fine but I had to turn off Windows Defender before it would install
I haven't tuned with it yet

is it ok to have a 12v signal going to the input??.... The signal from the harness goes from 12v down to about 1vJadzwin wrote:Just connect AC switch directly to EMU and set analog input inverted as a switch source.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
On to a more serious point as a few people have mentioned i think we have lost some of our previously very reliable connectivity.
I have also been having trouble with connection sometimes very slow sometimes saying the USB device has some problem. Often it wont connect at all and i swap around to different USB ports and finally it connects. I even purchased a new USB cable from a computer shop to no avail.
In the past i have never had a single problem other than cable related.
