Dear All,

I am installing ECUMASTER EMU STANDALONE on Toyota Aristo JZS161 2JZGTE VVTI.

I have been working on this project for 3 months but still unsuccessful.

Right now I am having problem connecting ECUMASTER EMU to laptops.

There is no connection either on Windows 8 or Windows 10 (both 64 bit).

All laptops are fine as well as all USB ports.

What can be problem?

I believe ECUMASTER EMU is powered when key is switched on since there is heat on its casing.

Until now no luck to bring engine alive.

Dear All,

"Please check if there is no short circuit on EMU +5V output"

ECUMASTER technical support said above statement but no further explanation.

From ECUMASTER EMU pin B17, B18, B23, B24, G17,G18, G24, where should be wired?

I enclose Aristo pin out for reference.

Dear gregpe,

I installed "CDM v2.12.06" on Windows 10 64 bit.
Device detected/found.
But it shows "This device is not able to work with US Windows version!"

Try to install "CDM v2.12.00".
Display "This device is not able to work with US Windows version!"

I switch to old laptop, Windows 7 32 bit Pro.

First I do not install "CDM v2.12.06".
Device (ECUMASTER) undetcted.

Then install "CDM v2.12.06".
Device detected/found but it shows "This device is not able to work with US Windows version!"
Same message appears by installing "CDM v2.12.00".

How to solve this problem?

I enclose screen shot from both laptops.

You need to update to latest firmware 1.138. Search forum for test versions link. Or maybe someone will post it up here

Change the language of the control panel in you windows. I have had the same problem. English windows but acted emu in Sweden . had to do a language update to Swedish.

Dear Vortex,

Today We change Windows language to Polish, Spanish, German, not working.
We change Windows region, not working.

We update "machineInfo.dat" given by ECUMASTER
Message still appear "This device is not able to work with US Windows version!".

We try a laptop from Singapore market (Windows 7 64 bit).
Not working.
Message still appear "This device is not able to work with US Windows version!".

I install "EMUSetup_1_1_RC1" from USA website.
The same message "This device is not able to work with US Windows version!".
Then update "machineInfo.dat", same message.

I installed "EMUSetup_1_138" given by ECUMASTER.
The same message "This device is not able to work with US Windows version!".
Then update "machineInfo.dat", same message.

Anybody???????

How to check if it is US version or Europe version or Asia version?

All 3 laptops were bought in Indonesia, one laptop bought in Singapore.
