przema72, thanks a lot, you're right, checked it with a scope tool, adjusted timing with a strobe light and already started it, runs nice! :D

is it possible to have a dRPM / dMAP based accel enrichment? some other brand ecu have this and its very handy for older engines that dont have a variable TPS

would be cool to have a output test board.

so i can simply push a button to see if the wiring is correct and the output works.

as example:

injectors on/off
coil spark on/off
fuel pump on/off
TB idle possition
aux on/off
shift light on/off

etc. etc..

And another Idea.

Is it possible to set the Shiftlight like a F1 car. With a lets say 3 LED bar and a followed blinking of all 3?

So lets say: 6000rpms = 1 LED, 6500rpm = 2 LEDS, 6800rpms = 3 LEDS, 7000rpms = all LEDS blinking.

you can do this by tick "inverted"

I use the "inverted" check box for on/off stuff like fuel pump and shift light but for injectors and coils there needs to be something like the DTA where it can send signal to the drivers running up at 1000rpm increments-fuel pump needs to be off when testing injectors ;)

Can we get rid of the F2 button all together? I'm tired of making changes, saving and forgetting to hit F2 so it doesn't save anything....

Can we have 2D tables for enrichment AND ignition when using Alpha N plus map
I assume that a standard set of values are programmed in for enrichment ie 100% for 1 bar boost but I'd like to see that and modify in a 2D table. I also like to use a TPSvRPM table for ignition and use the map value to add or subtract timing.
This feature is not uncommon in other ECU's
And don't forget the Innovate serial protocol option ;)

it is supposed to be there. there is simple reason for it. assume that You are making tune on the road - if you change something catastrophically, (even by mistake, and without knowing) You can "stall" the car, stop the engine - or even FORCE it BACKWARDS, and kill it. That's why You need to get used to using F2, every time You want to save changes permanently - it's for you to be aware of what You are doing.

Some ECU's have an "Auto EE" system that can be turned on or off . I prefer this turned on when I'm tuning so I don't have to click a "make permanent" key

We have installed 10 EMU ECUs in the last 2 months. And are always thrilled how well the controller works. This brings us to the limit but with inputs and outputs.
I wish an extension box with inputs and outputs !!!
And the maps could be a bit bigger to be able to even finer tuning !!!
But seriously for me simply the best controller for this price and the support is great.

Keep it up. :P

I dont know if its just my laptop but i cant seem to change the gauges, they appear white and i can barely see the readings on them. Im using the latest software, and i can get the black gauges on the early software but the earlier ones have caused issues with windows and crashes.

Any ideas?

Having the right same issue but never solve it, using win10 it seems to be opengl drivers but there is none for my graphics card on win10

I'm using win 7 on a laptop which isn't all that. I just installed the latest 1.151 software on my pc and the gauges are fine. Might try messing with the drivers on the laptop

Hey, i purchased a Emu couple days ago. I wired it up and connected it to the car today. But i am not able to get a connection to my laptop. I installed the driver, a few times, and i tried the drivers from: http://www.ftdichip.com but no chance the emu is not willing to connect. If i have the emu wired up to the car and connected to the laptop and if i am pressing "make permanent" it displays disconnected in the left bottom corner. Otherwise it displays nothing wether "connected" nor "disconnected". My computer "ignores" the emu completely, it doesn't even show anything in explorer. Is there anyone out there who had same issues. It is the first time i am working with emu. And a gerneral question: If i connect only the emu to my computer, not wired up, not connected to the car, so only the naked emu device, should it display "connected" then? Or can i only connect and work with the emu if it is powered by the car? I hope u know what i mean ;)
By the way i am using Windows 10 32bit version ;)
Thanks a lot guys
Cheers Simon

You should connect it to a 12v powersupply as well.
