im trying to keep my car alive.
I set mechanical idle at 950rpm via stop screw.
I set my feed forward base iacv dc to hold 950rpm for open loop control
when turning on my PID control, I can get it to hold the idle. but when the tps comes out of the idle condition, the iacv goes wide open and the motor surges. its extremely aggravating and I don't know how to make it stop doing this with any amount of adjustment. checking the Reverse settings cures this annoyance. but it makes tuning the pid impossible.
also, there is no combo of pid settings or timing advance that will correct the rpm error with the AC on. I have my 12v ac clutch signal tapped into Aux6 on G4. but i have no idea why im not getting an idle up for the AC on.
why is my iacv going 100% after idl threshold..

idle RPM ref table is responsible for it..
Read help section!!!! in software..

The idle section is pretty basic. I have my idle parameters open all the time and there's nothing in there pertaining to iacv parking at 100% when exiting idle circuit.

open table "IDLE RPM REF" and read help.... blue circle with question mark...
Re: why is my iacv going 100% after idl threshold..
thanks.
I found that. I didn't read the help on the program. I was reading thru the entire handbook and there is no mention of this table. nor is it even show in the screen cap of the Idle section in the handbook.
I turned it down to 5% at 3000+ rpm, tapering down from 100% at 1595.
it drives better without trying to surge ahead on its own.
now I just gotta fix the random stalling issues...
edit; all fixed with new firmware and client.
