IAT not working?

Hey guys, I finally got my IAT installed. But it's not reading.

I have B21, and B18. B18 is sensor ground, so there's other sensors hooked up to it, I just tapped one wire. And B21 is dedicated for the IAT.

I have it connected, wires are good. But it stays at 21. If I disconnect it, it stays at 21. The weird thing is that if I hold the wires each wire with each hand, it reads (really low, -18 or something like that). If I let go of either one, it goes back to 21.

I did accidentally hook up my EBC to B18 (I forgot which wire was which) though I don't think that would be a problem.

I've tried TWO IAT's and both do the same thing. Any suggestions?

if you can move the wires, and the reading changes, I would suspect a wiring issue, either a bad connection at a crimp/connector, or a break in the wire. time to get our your multimeter, and check resistance.

Yup just did that yesterday evening.

And as you said, it ended up being a break in the wire where I ran it through the firewall.

So far so good, but now I just need to figure out my A/C activation, and research on knock control
