I finally got my speedo working. It works great but sometimes it flips out and bounces up to a high speed then back down to what it should be.
Happens after heavy acceleration I think, but isn't very consistent and a bit random.
Is this normal for the emu? something to do with the signal wire? or could it be my sensor?
Cheers

Could it be noise in the wire? Is it shielded?

Look at the log if the VSS channel is smooth

Re: Small Speedo Problem
Hi sorry for the late reply, but i finally fixed this problem, i was living with it for along time thinking it was just a dodgy wire or speed sensor in my gear box.
The problem got alot worse yesterday to the point where i had to limp the car home, 2 of my new coil packs had developed cracks. Being new I never checked them and while checking ht leads and revving the engine i see the back one arcing out onto the head. at the same time i was getting pops from the exhaust which are at the same time the speedo would jump about. This is probably due to unshielded speed sensor cable also.
Anyway just thought i would share my findings in case anyone else has a similar problem.

You should find problem why your coils cracked. Probably too much dwell
