Intel OpenGL driver

Hi!

If you have problems with 3D tables/ Gauges display or crash of EMU client, it is caused by bggy Intel Open GL driver.
For all people that own computers with integrated Intel graphics card here is a solution.

it is to late for me to check it but i think new driver have updated version of OpenGL 1.2

Hello,
as I had Problems with my driver (no win 8.1 support for my old machine) I downgraded to windows 7 and tryed the driver form your link. But now I get the same error report when I try to install the driver: Hardware does not match with the driver.
Also I tryed different drivers, e.g. from the asus support page, but they do not seem to work with the emu client. Although the client does not crash anymore when I open gauges or 3d tables, they are simply not displayed (3d table displays only the left half of the window)



My device manager says I have an Intel GMA 3150 Graphic chipset. Machine is an ASUS eee 1215n from the late 2010 year.

Buy a new(er) computer would be the last thing I would want to do...

Hi clem,

what kind of windows are you using 32 or 64 bit ? https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/u ... =Downloads

the whole "trick" of manual install is to chose option "Have Disk..." and point location of files, when you once install driver manually next time you start windows you will can start normal setup.exe from intel driver package to add Intel Graphic Option control panel

if you have further problems with driver i suggest try to look driver via Vendor and Device Lists : http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-fin ... device-id/

Big thanks!!! One thing I miss in your description was, that search manually on the computer for software has to be selected twice to get to the "have disk" button.
I had to try several times until I finally found the window from your picture.

My laptop is with Mobile intel (r) 4 series express chipset family , windows 7 ultimate 32 bit , I try with 4-5 drivers no luck still EMU software crash on opening 3d tables ( fuel , ignition , afr target ) ...

Please consult the driver for me. Dell XT2 with W7 64bit.
My graphics card is a Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (ven_8086 dev_2A42)

I tried almost all versions, but unfortunately. The only driver that works (not full) is original from W7 ver. 8.15.10.1749 (WDDM 1.1)

Intel GPU drivers signed by vendors is total magic, last question is what version of software you are using ?

really? version 1.000 and 1.113?

try to install latest official 1.1 and later test version 1.130 EXP 2, there was few changes after official 1.0 in client display method

but it is Intel GPU that means that can be never ending story...

Hi ...I have a Toshiba Satellite C660 with Intel HD graphics on board.I am using EMU Client 1.157EXP 1...I am only able to run the EMU client in a "sandbox" and it does not appear possible to update the Intel HD driver.I cannot run 3d tables or gauges
I have tried manual installs of all possible Intel drivers and Toshiba only list the current driver I have installed and this goes back to 2010! Is there an alternative to buying a new laptop? There is a BIOS update available from Toshiba but I'm not sure it will solve the problem.Your ideas would be appreciated.Thanks..

Hi,
After many different file downloads and aborted installs I finally found one that my Toshiba laptop will allow me to install in place of of my existing driver..It became apparent to me that you don't go for the" latest" driver but look for the next updated driver in date order to the one you have installed.This is the one that worked for me.... Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows Vista* and Windows 7*Version: 8.15.10.2622 Its an .exe file rather than a zip file but still installed ok .Building the plug and play adapter now!
