on this subject .... is it an acceptable method of finding the dead times by clicking the squirt twice option on and off and adjusting the dead time until the lambda remains steady??

@RHD

can you please explain more this method ? i don't understand how it works but am very interested.

I thought a little:
Am i right that with squirt twice, the same amount of fuel is injected only with two squirts. When offset is wrong the amount of fuel ist different so also lambda is wrong ?
When offset is right, amount of Fuel is right :)

cool method :-)

would be also cool as a new Feature for EMU, auto offset adjustment ( maybe with squirting three or four times to make error smaler ?)

yes the calculated total amount of fuel should be the same each way but the dead time PW will be added to each squirt, so since you now have twice as many dead times being estimated and accounted for if this value does not correlate to the actual dead time them there will be a change in the amount of fuel delivered and this will show up as a lambda change. Idle and light throttle will be more accurate than open throttle since more of the PW will be taken up with the dead time.

I am using my testing/cleaning bench to find the minimum time to get them open and squirt .... it is pretty much enough for the base setup.

nono, its comertial product.

but if you know something about electonics, you can easly use for Example arduino, transistor, fuel pump and make your own test bench ... its realy easy, just to be able change impuls with in 0,1ms steps or smaller.
