Hello we use the EMU for our 3SGTE Mr2 Engine works fine . But the Stock RPM Gauge Cluster will not Work. Wiring is correct an measured from Aux4 to Gauge Input.
Were is our mistake ???? Any Tricks

If you retained the stock igniter, it should work without any input from the EMU...If you are running individual coils, then yes, tach adapter is needed.Marc Knoll wrote:Hello we use the EMU for our 3SGTE Mr2 Engine works fine . The stock tachometer is known for failing capacitors in the cluster, which can cause this issue. Just replace them, you will need (2) 10uf 25v caps, and pay attention to polarity (stripe down the side).

The Gauge works normal before the Engine build and swap the Old AEM V1 and Igniter Out.

Or there is a way to remove one resistor in stock tacho, there is a writeup somewhere on the net. Easy fix, just need to take out the cluster out. No need for adaptors.
