Then my previous interpretation for this ECU is incorrect.
So to be correct:
(720)---EXPANSION---(540)---EXHAUST---(360)---INTAKE---(180)---COMPRESSION---(0)

In both end of injection and start of injection option, the table is degrees BTDC on the compresion stroke? So the 400 degrees default number applies only if someone selects start of injection? I guess end of injection would be right before the intake valves close, 140-160 degrees?

no you need to end injection before opening intake valve....
so i gues most of my ecu's are between 450 and 300degree.

I found out the engine likes 400 degrees aprox (end of) at idle, but it works fine with many other angles, except the area around 250 degrees where it starts misfiring. I am thinking that ideally you would have to spray behind open valves when the air velocity is high. I will just leave it at 400 through out the rev band, as this requires extensive dyno time to be tested, plus the duty cycle is high at full throtle so i doubt it will make any difference. Or maybe i will just try to test only at light load and low duty cycle to see if it will make any difference and improve consumption.
