Bugs and Feature reqests
Unsure if this has been asked already but could we add the ability to use Cam #2 input for more things than just motorsport functions enable?
I would love to use it for oil temp sensor input for example because it has a built in pull-up.
Or use it for the MUX switch, which is what I commonly use for the motorsport functions anyway.
Thanks!

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Dont think so, its a digital input, for mux or temp sensor you need a analog input.oneten wrote:Unsure if this has been asked already but could we add the ability to use Cam #2 input for more things than just motorsport functions enable?

Very good point, I should have considered that!roquete wrote:Dont think so, its a digital input, for mux or temp sensor you need a analog input.oneten wrote:Unsure if this has been asked already but could we add the ability to use Cam #2 input for more things than just motorsport functions enable?

Oxygen Sensor LSU 4.2 shows only 1
Hi,
i have a problem since 2-3 Months with my second EMU,
AFR/Lambda shows only 1
ive checked 100 times the wiring, changed the Laptop, changed the LSU
Can u help me maybe? it has never been shown something else than 1
my other EMU works perfect

Missed gear rev limiter
Hi
would it be possible to detect and limit rpm in the event of a missed gear, we have a problem with our turbo bike engines where if a gear is missed the engine will exceed max rpm due to speed of acceleration and internal inertia.
i was hoping the rpm delta value from the traction control could be used to detect a higher rate of change than normal.
thanks
Chris

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
If you miss a gear the standard Rev limiter will work ( revs > Rev limit).
I the revs after missshift is lower than Rev limit t t no problem at all

Can you please condider this?
You could offer the posibility for a second air temperature sensor, let's call it airbox temperature sensor or ambient air temperature sensor, along with the main iat sensor placed on the inlet manifold. So we can set the blend between these two sensors in the chargetemp table, instead of the coolant temp sensor. The coolant temp is more or less stable during all year and weather, so when we use the chargetemp table and set the clt sensor influence more the fuel calculations, we virtually just chose to ignore the iat sensor for whatever reason, and the afr is unstable. Two air temperature sensors will be much better for fuel calculations and can completely solve all the problems that come from iat sensors that are heatsoaking and give false readings to the ecu at low loads, rpm and speeds.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
can we get a 2d table for the TPS calibration? (and a wizard for those who just want it linear)
his would help solve the resolution problem at light throttle for engine with large ITBs

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Redefine your load points for alpha-n. For speed density it doesnt matter
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
sometimes 1% is not fine enough
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
PLEASE insert in to EMU internal dataloging!
its only one BIG FAT DISSAPOINT in this ecu.
Allmost all other ecu's have internal or SD card dataloging.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
there is no physical possibility of placing an internal logging, but we came with solution.
External logger

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Can I buy it from my seller in Poland?
Really need data logging on races, PC or phone/tablet is not reliable on race.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
^^ There has been logging with Serial Ghost available for some time now via the EXT Port, why not use that?
Feature Requests:
Not sure if these have been asked for already, sorry if they have:
- Space Bar to select current cell in the fuel/ign maps (or any table for that matter). Same as you can do in Haltech software for example. I know you can kind of do this by pressing F to turn cursor follow on an off, but what would be useful is space bar to select current closest cell and that cell only, it is very helpful when tuning on a dyno and you want to jump to a cell you are currently referencing, back off the throttle and make changes.
- Map trace feature. Follow cursor and grey out each cell as is it referenced in a fuel/ign map, similar to many other tuning software map traces. This is also very useful for seeing where the ECU has been reading on the map after doing a power run.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
because I dont like it. I want product from ecu master, and we will get it soon

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Would it be possible to use Cam 2 Input as second vehicle speed input?
This would make Traction Control more precise, and easier for users.

May be you can add gauge for DBW actual position ? I didnt find it.
Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Can you create an S2000/F20C sync mode that will use both camshaft sensors for engine sync during cranking? The EMU engine start is very fast at all engines i have tried, except for this, it takes a lot of cranking to start the engine.
For those that wonder, it has 12 evenly spaced teeth on the crankshaft trigger wheel, 4-1 trigger wheels on both camshafts, and VR sensors. The late models, 2006-2009, have 12+1 crankshaft trigger wheels, and only one camshaft sensor with a 4+1 trigger wheel, with Hall sensors. I don't want to use the late 12+1 crankshaft trigger wheel because i will not be able to use the stock ecu if it is needed as it's my daily car.

Are you sure it's a sync issue and not a cold start tuning issue?nickbmw wrote:Can you create an S2000/F20C sync mode that will use both camshaft sensors for engine sync during cranking?
