Wideband feedback

Post by BigMac » Mon Apr 24, 2017 12:04 am

I tried putting +/- 25 % in the O2 feedback which is the maximum allowed but the correction never went more than +/-10% even though mixture was a lot richer than target
is there an issue with this ?

At first learn something about EFI tuning ;) . I was on the same way and after some time I learned how tu tune it(Still far a way from pro).

And your ansver: Modify your VE table(most likely).

Well I had the engine held in steady state on the dyno doing the initial tune at 50% load 2500 rpm . target was 12.9 afr allowance set to +/- 25% yet the actual afr was showing 12.0 and the feedback was showing 90%. Just to test the problem I enriched further down to 11.5afr but the feedback still pinned at 90% . Not once during the whole tuning of the engine did feedback move more than +/- 10%. 10% is OK for normal tuning once you got in the ballpark but 25% is useful for a complete new tune
