BMW e46 M54b30 DBW idle issues

Post by Bimmer » Tue May 23, 2017 6:41 pm

Anybody knows how to set up M54 dbw ? i have idle 1400 when it should be 900 i have problem with min position of throttle body, it is 4% but target is 1%, when i turn ignition off throttle body 0 position is not fully closed, and as i understand original ECU can change polarity of throttle body and turn it backwards ? am i right ? basic question is how to set up e46 m54 engine throttle body so it can idle normaly.

Are you using the original throttle?
Try changing the first colum in DBW characteristic to 1 or 0

There is no point changing that, because my actual value stays always in column with 5%. So red crosshair is always above the 0 column...
