I am having issues connecting my EMU to the software. I just finished my harness and I went to plug my laptop in and it seems that the software can't detect the device. When I plug my laptop in with the USB, it makes the noise to indicate a device was found. I can go and look at the device through my file manager so the computer knows its there and powered up. However when I open up the software it pulls up the standard dashboard with all zeroes and has the big red "disconnected" at the bottom of the screen.
Any advice at how to get the EMU and the software to work together?

Maybe some other windows process is using this usb device ? So the emu app can't use it any more. Find in google how to check which process is using this usb device. Or simply after connect to the laptop go to device manager and turn off emu ftdi device and then turn it on back this will bring them back to the usability for any application/process.
