Hi
Is there more info on flex fuel , what sensor to use , how to setup it ... I see only blending menus but what to blend my current fuel table with ??? ... must I make fuel table 2 with E85 and then blend between 2 ? I am not familier with E85 tuning , only have tested true methanol tuned car but flex fuel is new to me and I want to try it
Flex fuel
Re: Flex fuel
I have been using the GM "Continental" sensor GM P/N 13577429. PDF attached for wiring/Set-up from ECUMaster.killerbee wrote:Hi

You need to build 2 maps before you mess with blending other than making sure whatever your E content actually is 100% in the correct table. For example we get E10 as pump gas, and Rarely do we get true E85, so you will have to adjust the blend tables to ensure 100% blend while tuning "pump", or E85.
E85 should be table #1, Pump gas should be table#2 Fully tune each one, boost, timing, cold start etc...
Once you are completely happy with tuning of both fuels, its time to start blending. You will find that you don't want a straight blend on all tables. And some will be flat for a few percentage points.
