2jzgte vvti setup

Post by aaronRX72JZ » Thu Jun 11, 2015 9:49 am

I just received my EMU standalone today and was wondering if I can get some wiring tips and maybe a base map. I'm running a precision 6776 @ 1bar on stock head with id1000 injectors. I'm using the jzx100 r154 5speed trans. Also plan to use a Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband. And I have a apexi boost control solenoid valve I was planning to use.

LSU 4.9 wideband will not work with EMU without external controller you must look for LSU 4.2 http://www.bosch-motorsport.de/media/ca ... 435pdf.pdf
SPECIFICATION
Lambda sensors
- narrow band 4 wires sensor,
- wide-band sensor Bosch LSU 4.2

The wideband I have is for a gauge set up already. It has a controller box and is set up for data logging http://www.glowshift.com/instructions/7 ... atalog.pdf

Hi!

For 2JZ VVTi we changed the CAM decoder to improve engine start.
Here is a document how to setup trigger and VVTI
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/286 ... e_vvti.pdf
and later check other topics search.php?keywords=2jzgte
your controller has 0-5 output so there will be no problem to connect it to EMU

I also bought the IAT sensor kit from your website and was wondering what sensor it is in the IAT wizard? Also setting up the wiring for my TPS I'm using the factory vvti one. It has 4 pins. Looking at the wiring diagram I can see what wire is +5v and sensor ground, but which is the signal wire and what do I do with the other wire? Also what size fly back diode should I use for the vvti oil control valve?

yes. That would be great if you can do that! im running the factory TPS sensor Toyota PN# 89452-30150. and any idea on the IAT sensor? it definitely looks like a GM IAT sensor but there are 2 on the sensor wizard i dont know which one it is?
