BMW Electronic throttle settings DBW (VDO)

Hi all,

Kuba helped me and done the calibrations for a new electronic throttle, and I think all should share this as well, since its a very good throttle, as it's big one and could be used by many others

Throttle numbers:
1354 7 535308-02
A2C53063524
12-07-07
Germany

From searching over the internet I found that it's used on 750i BMW, on N62B48B engine, but we got if from Alpina engine, anyhow here below print screens of the configurations.

Hi, what is the blade size of this throttle?

82mm OD, so the blade should be 76mm at least.

Thanks. I have checked and this design is not very good for boosted engine. To connect air hose securely need to weld throttle body

Anyhow I published this for anyone wanted to use it, as we used similar throttles with success, the rest is personal opinion and preferences

I have been approached a few times about setting up DBW but i really cant find much info, one is for m54 bmw and the other is twice now aussie Ford falcon (4.0 6cyl)

what external controller do we need to use and where to get one????? or are the controllers usually included in the original cars electronics somewhere?? from the looks they just connect directly to the factory ECU
